This was my fastest startup business I have ever done. I’ve tried a lot of things. I’ve been drawn to side hustles and online businesses for years and years.
I even created and published multiple blogs about side hustling, along with newsletters and social media talking about the topic.
And, the case studies.
They go on and on.
This remote one I started 2 years ago. Little did I know, it would add an extra $5K+ to my monthly income within two months.
Here’s what I did and how it works…
What remote side hustle made me $5K+ per month online?
Digital marketing.
I used the internet to market products to people online.
I did it faceless
I didn’t pay for advertising
I used channels like writing and social media to get traffic
I had never seriously done this before. Not in this way.
It was January 2024.
I jumped in and when I say fast, it was fast.

How does it work?
I have digital products.
I sell them online.
I created my own digital products, like ebooks
I bought PLR (private label rights) digital products to resell
I sold MRR (master resell rights) digital products as my own to resell
PLR and MRR are licenses that allow others to resell the products as their own. So for example, you might be a $20 ebook with MRR and resell it for $20, keeping 100% of the income.
This is a major shortcut because it means you don’t have to create the product yourself which is super time-intensive, hard, and takes a major effort.

This is my website flipping course
I sell them in a Beacons store.
You go to Beacons, signup, get a linktree-style store you can feature anywhere.
Mine is beacons.page/jennaffiliates
They even have free plans.
You could also choose Stan Store, Payhip, Gumroad, or another store platform or marketplace to sell on.
The biggest part of this business is the marketing.
It’s super important.
How do you sell your products online?

You have to bring customers to you.
I did this through social media and content. I added email, too.
I created a new Instagram account and posted daily
I wrote online on Medium
I did email marketing and sent newsletters talking about the products, to my subscribers
The beauty of this is, all these things are free!
For email marketing, I used Systeme at the time.

How did you start earning $5K+ per month so fast?
Zero to $5K+ monthly in 2 months is SUPER FAST.
I was making 4 figure weeks my first week.
That is SUPER FAST.
I credit this to an online course I took, called Ultimate Branding Course.
People roll their eyes when I talk about a course and I get it. A lot of people are against spending money.
But, I consider it an investment in yourself.
Could I have done this on my own without a course? Sure.
But, would I have seen the same results? Absolutely not.
And, any results I would’ve seen would’ve been much, much slower, I think.
