Happy New Year’s Eve! I spent the day doing a few errands. I’m slow cooking a pot roast in the Instant Pot and watching YouTube. We made appetizers and cleaned the house of all the holiday decor so I look forward to a chill rest of the evening!
I’m wishing you a healthy, happy and most prosperous year ahead in 2026!
2025 was a funny year for a lot of people, me included. I’m looking forward to it turning around next year and I’m excited for what the future brings.
Here are a few of some goals I have set for my business:
Run a double-sided business instead of a multifaceted one: this means I’ll be eliminating a lot of my active income streams (selling them off) because in recent years it feels like my attention has been so split. I think focusing on one or two things can help you accomplish more than doing a dozen different smaller projects. But, I’m still all for multiple income streams and plan on holding onto the passive income ones that are working!
Turning on paid promo/ads: I have been so resistant to this in prior years but, I’m excited to do this more consistently in 2026. My stint with ads earlier this year was mixed. My first run with ads was a disaster. I gave it 10 days, spent 3 figures in adspend and didn’t make $1 in sales. I went for it again and spent under $1,000 towards ads and made around 4X back on the investment! The course I used for my recent ads endeavor worked for me and then I just bought this ads guide for $17 which I plan on trying in 2026.
Re-starting YouTube: On my list for a long time. I’ll be going all-in on my website flipping YouTube channel and revamping an existing channel that has been dormant for some time.
