Hey,
Over a month ago, on a Thursday, I decided I wanted to see if I could make money in a weekend. So, I put myself up for the test and 30 days later, here’s how that performed…
I decided to publish a Reddit post
It was monetized with affiliate offers
I researched the audience, offer, and product
Total time: 15 minutes
I used free tools to do my research: SEMRush (they give you 10 free daily searches). I use this to check keywords to find good words to write my content around that are low-competition and high-volume.
That means, writing around a keyword like, for example, “Gen Z business” that gets 50,000 searches on Google monthly but, a competition score of 10 (which is very low, on a scale of 0 to 100).
This keyword research is important because when you write content online, you want it to show up at the top of search results. So when people go to Google and search for your topic, your post comes up.
Only 15 minutes for all of this, including writing the post and sales started coming in, within 24 hours.
About 4 days in, I made $1,000 or so.
30 days in: $4,084 in affiliate commissions
This was from 130 affiliate sales (conversions) from a post that got 20,000 views.

One post.
Can you imagine 3 or 4 posts a month? ($4K x 4 posts = $16K/mo 😳)
This was a regular, everyday post too. 20K views is not viral.
I am so happy with the results. This is one way I monetize Reddit.
I teach this inside my Redditpreneur video course, along with other money-making strategies for side hustles and business.
It’s $17 this Black Friday weekend (ends tomorrow at midnight).
Cheers,
Jenn
